Father God,

To you all – ALL – hearts are open.

All motives and secrets are known 

Nothing can be hidden

Everything is laid bare

When I see the darkness in my soul

help me not to run

Or hide or escape

But let me stand with you 

And walk into the scary unknown parts 

Of my heart 

With You by my side

I’m so angry at my darkness 

I don’t understand why
I can’t make it go away...
